Case Study

Hannafin completed the main substructures and concrete frame works in developing this much needed facilty into the region

The new £8.9 million NGS Chesterfield Royal Macmillan Cancer Centre, which opened its doors in 2017, has transformed cancer services for people across North Derbyshire.  The new centre is planned to be open at Chesterfield Royal Hospital by Spring 2017. The Chesterfield Royal Macmillan Cancer Centre combines the previous outpatient chemotherapy and day unit services in one purpose-built centre.  The new chemotherapy suites now have the space and equipment to treat 25 people at one time, a marked improvement on the current oversubscribed capacity of 8.

The site was challenging, logistically, but Hannafin worked closely with the client to ensure pre-planning and good organizational practices caused little disruption to the very busy environment
