The deal will see the national civil engineering and groundworks specialist expand on its existing relationship with the Tigers to feature on the club’s playing and replica kits for the first time from 2020.

Hannafin’s package with the Fords will also see them benefit from stadium advertising and matchday hospitality opportunities, with the national brand keen to link in closely with the Castleford community as part of their relationship with the Tigers.

Castleford Tigers’ Commercial Manager Craig Jeffels said: “Following our successful partnership in 2019, I am delighted to announce that Hannafin Contractors Limited will become main rear shorts sponsor for the 2020 Super League season.

“As a major civil engineering and groundwork contractor working the length and breadth of the UK, Hannafin is another fantastic brand we are proud to be adding to our portfolio here at Castleford Tigers.

“I would like to thank Ciaran Considine for his ongoing support and we look forward to assisting him in growing the Hannafin brand both locally and nationally throughout 2020.”

Hannafin, who partner Wasps RUFC alongside the Tigers to ensure they are aligned with like-minded commercial brands in the north and south of the country, boast a large portfolio of successful projects and clients.

Established almost 20 years ago, the firm has become one of the UK’s leading specialists in groundworks and civil engineering with contract values typically ranging from £1m to £15m and spread across commercial, education, health, leisure, retail and manufacturing.

Ciaran Considine, Hannafin Head of Business Development, commented: “We are very happy to have been able to further extend our association with the Castleford Tigers.

“We are proud to be part of such a well-supported community focused club and are very much looking forward to what we know will be another exciting season of Rugby League ahead of us.”
